Osamusali is Manager of Safety Systems at AMEC NSS Ltd. He obtained his bachelor’s at University of Ife in Nigeria and his PhD in Nuclear Engineering at McMaster University in Canada. He has developed advanced methods and techniques for thermal hydraulic analysis of reactor heat transport systems and has performed licensing work on the Advanced CANDU Reactor (ACR) for the Atomic Energy of Canada Limited (AECL). Osamusali has over 20 publications on nuclear reactor thermal hydraulics. He is the 2007 recipient of the Planet Africa Science and Technology Award. He also received the Ontario Power Generation’s Chief Nuclear Officer (CNO) Recognition Award.
