Dr. Reevana Balmahoon

Dr. Reevana Balmahoon is an engineer who is passionate about innovation. She holds a PhD in Engineering and an MBA. She has worked in the telecommunications and technology space in several leadership positions, including holding product strategy and Innovation portfolios. Balmahoon is the tech specialist at a global social enterprise, WomEng (Women in Engineering), where she pays it forward for STEM capacity building. She has built courses on Cybersecurity and AI, of which both are special interests. She is a member of the Institute of Directors of South Africa, and advises various early stage companies from a technology perspective.
