Eric Ofori Aboagye
Aboagye is Professor of Cancer Pharmacology & Molecular Imaging and Director of the CRUK-EPSRC-MRC-NIHR Comprehensive Cancer Imaging Centre at Imperial College London. He researches novel therapies and molecular imaging methods for cancer and has translated at least three novel cancer diagnostic methods into human applications. He has over 200 publications and 12 patents. Aboagye completed his bachelor’s at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) in Ghana and his PhD at University of Glasgow. He is a recipient of the British Association for Cancer Research Translational Research Award, the 2009 Sir Mackenzie Davidson Medal and is also a fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
